The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Data Platform Engineer to implement the next generation of our data platform. You will build foundational technology on which Earnest performs real-time machine learning for risk, fraud and marketing purposes. You will be responsible for implementing command line and HTTP APIs used by other Earnest teams to access and manipulate data and deploy their models to production.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be working on our data team made up of data scientists, software engineers and data engineers that decide how our models work best. We believe this allows for people to take greater ownership and approach problems creatively. We find value in code reviews, pair programming and paying down technical debt. Every day we are deploying code and launching features with few internal bureaucratic barriers to get closer to our vision of a better, more just bank. We’re constantly reflecting on how we can improve our product and processes, and will quickly push towards better solutions as they come.
